While reading I had some questions about what I was reading. I want to know how old each of thet boys are especially Tom. What's a five-center piece? Why do the boys feel as if it's okay to kill the people they rob? How is money valued during this time period? What/who is Providence? What's an Injun? How does Huck's father find him? How many times can one be jailed for the same thing? Why is Huck's father talking about a Tramp, was she the one who drown?
I found that after you get past the way the book is written and the grammatical errors it has it isn't too bad and is slightly enjoyable.
Some things I disliked was the overusing of 'by and by', how horrendous the grammar is and how the author mentions himself and another one of his books, in the first sentence.
