Digital Media
I hope to learn how to use different software because I like being creative.
I mostly just utilized the rectangle line shape while playing with the opacity and colors of a few of them. While also stacking some of the text effects to create the one the picture shows.
At first I was planning on changing the background color of the picture so that the entire poster wasn't white, but I ended up liking it so I kept it the way it is. I thought the picture could be inspirational so I went and found a quote that would go well with it. I also changed the saturation of the fish and the bowls to make them look a little less dull. It looked pretty plain on the top of the poster so I added a pentagon as an experiment to see what it'd look like with multiple of them in the corner. I tried to put them in an appealing arrangement, but then it looked like it needed more color so I made one of them a different color so there was a subtle difference.
3D
For this project I worked with Laura and Aleeya to make an IPhone case. We experienced some difficulties with trying to use the 3D setting in Photoshop. We eventually figured out how to hollow out the inside of the case to insert a shark shape. This also created some frustration because the shark did not want to lay on the grid the way it needed to.
Hoverboard Video
I encountered a bit of trouble trying to get this video to export so there won't be a link here. I enjoyed learning how to use Premiere and lining up the audio to flow with the video as I cut the video into smaller more attention grabbing portions. I also played with changing the color saturation and transitions. I learned some editing controls, splitting clips and shortening them.
Picture Video
This video also would not export so there isn't a way for me to put a link here for it. I kind of enjoyed this project but I wish I had had different pictures to use or had figured out how to change the orientation of the pictures I had used. The pictures I had used weren't very good in quality either, but I had enjoyed making them transition throughout the video.
PSA
For this project I had worked with Chad, Jaymon, and Maverick. Working with them wasn't as bad as it could have been, I'm just glad we were all able to work together and finish the work we had been given. Our blinker safety PSA video turned out okay and each of us attempted to help with it and put it together nicely.
Infographic
I enjoyed working on this project I liked the way the letters took the look of the image. I do wish I had wore makeup for the picture, I think it would have looked a little better. It's been a while since I created this so I can't remember exactly how I used Photoshop to make it. I remember putting a black and white filter on the image and creating what I think was a layer mask to put the black on one side of the image and put the text on.
